The food is excellent and the staff are very kind and helpful when needed. The place has a great atmosphere and I believe everyone in commerce should know the name McKay's country kitchen because it is truly extraordinary food especially bill's mega omelette. I noticed there weren't pictures online of the menu so here are some for everyone to enjoy and hopefully be the reason at least one person reading this decides to try McKay's wonderful food.

My wife and I went there for breakfast this morning and the portions are huge -- be sure to go there hungry! I ordered the fully-loaded large (aka 2 egg) omelet and hash browns and my wife ordered the eggs, bacon & biscuits with a bowl of gravy. Food was good, served warm and with a smile. Great place to go for breakfast!

Love the patty melt and chili. Salmon Patty special is also great. Add in turnip greens with green hot pepper sauce even better. Plus get a small dessert with the daily special.

American food. Biscuits, gravy, burgers, fries and chicken fried steak. If your familiar with Cracker Barrel's food, or any Small-town American restaurant that serves "home cooked" style meals, this is about the same. Atmosphere of the restaurant is a mix of old-west and country dinner themed with country music on the radio. It is a seat-yourself style restaurant, and staff is very attentive.

Outstanding service the witnesses were all smiling moving cast taking care of a full dining room. Comfort breakfast food is what your looking for this is the place, very clean food comes out fast you cant go wrong here.
